We believe in tailoring the dog's lifestyle to the handler's lifestyle 100%. First, we begin with having all our Service Dogs pass their CGC test to ensure their public manners are top notch. After we make sure their public access is the best you will find, we will begin tailoring the dogs specific trained tasks to the handlers needs! We update our clients through the whole process making sure everything is perfect for their life. At Service Dogs of the West, we only take 4 Service Dog clients per year. This way we are able to give our clients and the dogs 110%. Our top breeds are Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Poodles. We are happy to discuss a different breed if our client believes it might be a better fit for them!
